I just got back from a wonderful vacation in Oahu, Hawaii and will spend the week writing up some of the great food I had (not including the above). Stay tuned.
OK, I understand Hawaii's love for SPAM. However, what market research genius determined a need for such a product? Has anyone ever been eating macadamia nuts and thought to themselves, "Gee, I wish these tasted like SPAM instead"?

Now, bourbon flavored macadamia nuts would be interesting.
Yeah, I didn't try this particular item. It just seemed repulsive to me, and I like spam (at least when cooked up island style).
