This week's most interesting new labels from the federal TTB database:
Pernod Ricard cleared a label for Chivas Regal Ultis, a blended malt made from five single malts.
Diageo cleared a label for a barrel strength expression of Bulleit Bourbon.
Note: The fact that a label appears on the TTB database does not necessarily mean it will be produced. In addition, some details on the label, such as proof, can change in the final product.

That Chivas uses the word "precious" on the back label to describe the 5 single malts. I'm guessing this bottle will start north of $200.
Looks like the bourbon isn't being sourced from MGP. I'll be interested to see what the price point is on this one, too.

The Chivas seems to go against the run of play. I can't see what hole in demand they are trying to fill. It seems a one-off sort of thing, but then why do they bother to sell it in the US?
